Greg Stansbury passed four days before his 41st birthday. He was survived by his family and friends from around the country who came together in his hometown of Chatham, IL to share stories of his grandeur.

Greg was a creator of many arts, one of which being Paper Teeth, an electronica noir amalgam of analog and digital instrumentation between him and me. In the years before Greg passed, he made a collection of unfinished vignettes that became seemingly lost in the digital ether after his laptop crashed. The Stansbury family graciously mailed this hardware to me and I removed the hard drive and accessed all of Greg's individual music files. In this process, I export the files both as audio and midi which allows me to retain the original playing while additionally being able to move Greg's "hands" to different synthesizers. Though I arrange the music, the playing is always his.

Importantly, Paper Teeth has always strived for musical collaboration with anybody wanted to join. As such, every year on October 2nd, an original vignette will be released as an open download for anyone to remix, followed by a new Paper Teeth song one month later on November 2nd (Greg’s birthday) until all of his music has been completed. All who knew him are encouraged to contribute. This is to ensure that, while the physical world outlived Greg, his music will continue to thrive.

Furthermore, 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation to improve the lives and critical needs of those living with MS.
